EpsonNet Mangement Tools

Our Internal and External Print Servers are supplied with software tools on a CD-ROM or embedded in the interface. These tools are used for setting up the printing environment when a new printer is installed onto a network, or when a network is set up for the first time. They also provide system administrators with easy printer control from a remote workstation or a machine on the LAN.

EpsonNet WebManager gives you instant identification of every printer on the network as well as a host of useful features, including:
Printer Mapping, Printer Statistics, Printer Status, Printer Group Management, Consumables Status, Driver Distribution, Network Setting Status, Email Notification.

EpsonNet WebManager is a web-based software application designed to manage Epson printers under a Windows environment (although it may be browsed via a Macintosh or a PC). Installed in a server, it runs all the time and allows network administrators to easily configure and monitor network printers. It bears some resemblance to EpsonNet Config but it implements a proactive rather than reactive approach to network printer management, so you can identify an issue and fix it remotely. Monitored items are paper feed type, remaining paper level, toner supplies, printer mode and options (duplex, paper cassette, mail bin, etc). EpsonNet WebManager is best used for larger groups of users.
Key features & benefits include:
• Mapping to help you visually locate your printers on the network.
• E-mail notification warning you of issues to fix such as empty toners, paper jams etc.
• Easy distribution of new drivers over the network.

EpsonNet Setup Manager is a software application that provides a simple printer installation and configuration tool for network administrators, and an easy network printer installation process for clients. EpsonNet SetupManager installs the printer driver for printers newly connected to the network and helps network administrators and clients to efficiently install and configure new network printers on Windows operating systems running TCP/IP.
EpsonNet SetupManager provides the following functionalities:

• Install the printer driver easily
• Install the port monitor (EpsonNet Print) automatically
• Create a printer port
• Create a shortcut (an icon that executes the script file on the server) or a package (which contains all files needed for the installation) for automatic printer driver installation
• Output the result of the printer driver installation using the script file
• Edit more than one script file at a time
• Register unconnected printers in a script file
• Install utilities such as EpsonStatus Monitor 3 and Epson Scan that support automatic installation

Status monitoring and client printing tool

Status Monitor is a software application designed to monitor local and network printers. It provides information about current printer status, including the amount of remaining toner, etc. Also if a print error occurs, the Status Monitor provides the user with a message describing the error. Status Monitor can be accessed from the printer driver. Status Monitor 3 (STM3) is embedded in Epson printer drivers.

EpsonNet Print is a printing tool for smaller TCP/IP networks using the Direct Print utility, which is included on CD-with the EpsonNet interface card. With EpsonNet Print it is possible to print in a TCP/IP environment without a server on the network. This utility can browse both printers located in the same segment and those located beyond a router.

EpsonNet Internet Print is a utility that supports printing across the Internet, for remote printing, using Internet Printing Protocol for Windows 98/95/NT 4.0.
