Its primary role is to manage and customize device events, such as pressing a physical button on the scanner or printer, and to link those events to specific actions on the computer. The software allows users or administrators to assign predefined actions, such as scanning a document to a folder, creating a PDF, launching Epson Scan, or sending files to an application, when a hardware button is pressed.
