Overview

Overview

The EB-XQ2030B is a 30,000lm 4K projector engineered to meet the demands of the industry. Utilising 3LCD and Epson's Advanced Cooling Engine, it delivers ultra-high brightness and 4K image quality in an incredibly small and light platform. Combining interchangeable lenses, SDM connectivity and IP6X dust resistance2, it supports truly flexible deployment across rental and fixed installations.

Compact design that revolutionises project deployment economics

As the world’s smallest and lightest 30,000lm 4K projector1, the EB-XQ2030B reduces physical and logistical constraints without compromising performance. Its compact footprint lowers transport, storage and install costs, while making handling and maintenance easier. For rental fleets and fixed installations alike, this translates into improved flexibility, faster setup and a lower total cost of ownership across the projector lifecycle.

High-impact 4K imagery for large-scale installations

Marvel at the clarity produced by Epson's 4K Crystal Motion technology. When optical precision and outstanding colour performance are critical, you can rely on the EB-XQ2030B to produce crystal clear details and vibrant colour with unbelievable contrast, ensuring content is reproduced as intended. From large-scale outdoor mapping to immersive visitor attractions, the EB-XQ2030B redefines ultra-high brightness projection to create truly engaging experiences that drive repeat visits.

Engineered for stability and reliability

At the core of this flagship 4K projector is the Advanced Cooling Engine, a collection of patented cooling technologies that efficiently manage the temperature of the individual components of the laser light source and optical engine. Engineered to handle the demands of 30,000 lumens brightness, this controlled thermal environment ensures consistent operation and performance longevity, even in demanding large-scale projects.

Connectivity that adapts to every project

The EB-XQ2030B supports a wide range of built-in standard inputs and outputs, complemented by Intel® SDM slot compatibility for modular expansion. This allows system designers to integrate AVoIP solutions, media players or future connectivity standards as required. The result is simplified cabling, reduced installation time and a future-proof platform aligned with long investment cycles.

Designed for demanding environments

With IP6X dust resistance2 and a filter-free design, the EB-XQ2030B is designed to withstand high-dust environments and intensive usage, for reliability where conditions are less controllable. Reduced maintenance requirements help minimise downtime and operational costs, making the EB-XQ2030B a dependable choice for rental companies, staging events and permanent installations.

Lens flexibility without compromise

Developed using direct customer feedback and Epson’s optical expertise, our comprehensive lens lineup offers complete throw ratio coverage with no gaps from ultra-short to long throw, with wide zoom and lens shift capability. Innovative lens designs facilitate new ways of implementing projection. Featuring built-in temperature sensing and ultra-precise manufacturing processes, the H Series lenses mimic our range of projectors - highly compact and lightweight, without sacrificing performance.

Improper installation of the projector on a ceiling or wall may cause it to fall, leading to potential injury or damage. To prevent this, ensure the ceiling mount is securely fastened using all mounting points specified in the projector’s user guide which is available to download from our support website (www.epson.eu/support). We recommend the use of Epson-approved ceiling mounts that are compatible with the projector model. Additionally, attach a safety wire of adequate strength to secure the projector to the ceiling mount.

If the projector is suspended from a ceiling or wall mount and installed in an environment with heavy oil smoke or places where oils or chemicals are volatilized, places where a lot of smoke or bubbles are used for event staging, or where aroma oils are frequently burned, it can make certain parts of our products susceptible to a material degradation which over time could break and cause the projector to drop from the ceiling.

We recommend that the equipment be inspected on a regular basis, either by the user or by a qualified professional, to ensure continued safe operation.

If you are concerned about the environment in which your projector is installed, or if you have any other questions, please contact our support department and they can provide additional assistance.
