Description

Document Capture Pro (Windows) and Document Capture (macOS) can upload scanned images directly to a cloud service or SharePoint server, without needing to save the file locally first.

Solution

  1. Open Document Capture Pro / Document Capture:

    • Windows 11 / 10: click Start, then select Epson Software > Document Capture Pro.
    • Windows 8.x: select Document Capture Pro from the Apps screen.
    • Other Windows versions: click Start, select All Programs or Programs, then Epson Software > Document Capture Pro.
    • macOS: open the Applications folder, then the Epson Software folder, then select Document Capture.
  2. Click the Scan icon.
  3. Select any scan settings you want to use.

Note: For information about individual scan settings, select Help within Document Capture Pro or Document Capture.
  4. Click Scan. A preview of the scan appears in the Document Capture Pro/Document Capture window.
  5. Click one of the cloud service destination icons to choose where to save the file:

    • Web Folder (WebDAV)
    • Microsoft SharePoint server (Windows only)
    • Evernote (Windows only)
    • Microsoft OneNote (Windows only)
    • Google Drive
    • SugarSync
Note: If an icon isn't visible, that service's software may not be installed, may not be available on your platform, or you may need to click the arrow next to the icons to reveal more options.
Note: If a cloud destination does not appear, verify that the destination is supported by your version of Document Capture Pro and that any required software or account sign-in has been completed.
  6. Enter the required information for the destination in the Transfer Settings window that appears — or, if you've saved a setting for this destination before, select it from the drop-down list.
  7. Adjust any save settings, then click OK or Send (depending on the destination) to scan and upload the file.
