0:09 Wait until [Load media.] appears on the screen.

0:36 While holding the tabs of each media holding plate on both sides,

0:43 move both media holding plates to the right and left sides of the platen respectively.

1:30 Make sure the holder handle shaft is visible.

1:39 If not,

1:42 rotate the handle forward until it stops.

1:57 Check how the media is rolled; (A) printable side out

2:05 Place media on the roll supports according to how the media is rolled.

2:14 Align the left edge of the media with the set position on the label.

2:53 To ensure the roll holder is inserted into the roll core sufficiently, push the side of the roll holder towards the roll end twice.

0:08 Make sure the Auto switch is set to off.

0:13 Press and hold the DOWN button to feed the media as far as the point indicated with the blue line.

Cleaning the Print head, Wiper and Cap

0:10 Select [Head Maintenance] on the Maintenance menu.

0:36 The print head is positioned for maintenance.

0:47 Soak a new cleaning stick (wide) in ink cleaner.

1:04 Open the maintenance cover and clean the print head.

1:23 Wipe off adhered ink, lint and dust attached around the print head.

1:39 Clean the rear side and the slits on both sides carefully.

2:24 Do not touch the enclosed areas, or print quality may decline.

2:34 To the area on the illustration, apply ink cleaner with a cleaning stick …
