When clicking Add to install a new printer using a FireWire connection macOS system will crash and become unresponsive.
This has been reported to Apple and while waiting for this to be resolved we recommend using a USB cable.
This issue does not affect products connected via USB
To resolve this issue make sure you are using Fax Utility version 1.74 or higher.
Uninstall any previous versions of Fax Utility before installing version 1.74.

Please download and launch the lastest version of the Epson Product Setup for your product from the Epson website.

Please close Epson Software Updater and re-open it, a update will be installed automatically.
