A member of the EMEAR resourcing team will support you through the entire process.
If you're selected for a second stage interview you may be asked to complete online assessments relevant to the role. We use a number of tools to support our process, which may include personality and ability assessments.

"One of the most pleasing aspects of this year’s cycle was seeing the esteem held for fellow colleagues, something that was made clear in the many nominations we received. The most striking observation was the pride with which people accepted their nominations and subsequent awards."

Epson is a Japanese brand that evolved from Seiko – best known as one of the world's foremost watchmakers. In 1964, we unveiled groundbreaking electronic timing equipment for the Tokyo Olympic Games, which allowed the race results to be printed. Shortly after this innovation, we launched the EP-101 in 1968. It was the world's first compact, lightweight digital printer from which the name Epson - the son of the EP - was born. We've continued innovating ever since, and now we're one of the best-selling and most innovative brands in just about every market in which we operate.
We care about our customers, our products, our employees and of course, our environment. Epson's energy-saving, compact and precise technologies form the base of all major Epson products, and also play a leading role in our contribution to the environment. By continuing to refine these technologies, we will increase the value we provide to our customers while minimising the impact on the environment.
Take your time when applying for a role. Consider if this is the right job for you and whether you have the skills and experience necessary to be successful. Is Epson the right company for you and does the location suit? Do you have the legal right to work where the job is based?
Read the job advert carefully and fill out your information honestly and accurately, as this forms part of the selection and screening process.
If you are having difficulties, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
We understand that a remuneration package forms part of your decision when you apply for a new job. Should your initial application be successful, a member of the HR or resourcing team will discuss your salary expectations with you.
Our benefits package varies from country to country. Your HR representative or resourcing specialist will be able to inform you about the benefits on offer in the country where the position is based.
Researching Epson is a great place to start. Find out about our different product ranges and our global office locations. Make sure you familiarise yourself with your CV and the job details prior to the first interview.
For your second stage interview, be prepared to provide specific examples of your experience detailing tasks or projects that you have worked on and how you have approached them. These types of interviews are known as competency based or structured evidence based interviews. You may also be informed of a skills based exercise or presentation that you'll be asked to undertake during your second stage interview. All of the necessary information will be provided to you by the resourcing team or HR team in advance of the interview.
A competency-based interview can also be referred to as:
Competency-based interviews are founded on the premise that past performance is the best predictor of future behaviour. You'll be asked to share examples of situations you've been personally involved in and asked to talk through each scenario in detail in order to provide evidence of your competence for the role.
Use the STAR approach:
Situation/task - describe the exact situation you were in or the task that you needed to accomplish. The situation must have occurred in the past and can come from the workplace, educational experience or a volunteer role.
Action - describe the action that you actually took - not what you might or should have done. If you worked in a team environment, it is important to describe your role in the team. The interviewer wants to understand what you did, not what the team did.
Result - describe what happened; did you accomplish the goal? If not, what did you learn along the way?
Keep it smart. Epson has a business dress code.
Please remember to bring your right to work documents to your second stage interview. We need to see the original documents, such as passports, national identity cards, full birth certificates etc.
Please ask your HR representative or resourcing specialist if you have any queries.
This may vary depending on the position you have applied for. However, we ensure that you will always receive detailed, specific and constructive feedback regarding the outcome of your interview, as we value your interest in Epson.
