At Epson, our mission is to provide better products for a better future. A future that’s kinder to the environment and more efficient for everyone. To do this, we understand how important it is to employ the best people, who are as passionate and proud as we are.
The only way to achieve this is to give our employees challenging, fulfilling and rewarding careers. With your help, we’ll continue to push the boundaries of what it is possible to achieve with technology, and create a sustainable and intelligent world for everyone.
Once applications have been considered, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a first interview. This may be on the phone, via video conference or face-to-face.
In order to prepare for the interview, please review the job details, consider your relevant experience and research Epson.
Typically, you’ll meet the hiring manager and often a member of HR.
Be prepared to talk about your skills and experience in relation to the position, challenges you’ve tackled and your contribution in previous positions. This is also an opportunity for you to get to know us, find out more about the company and ask any questions.
A member of the EMEAR resourcing team will support you through the entire process.
If you're selected for a second stage interview you may be asked to complete online assessments relevant to the role. We use a number of tools to support our process, which may include personality and ability assessments.
If you're invited to a second stage interview you’ll have the opportunity to meet more colleagues from Epson. This interview will be a competency based interview and may include a skills based exercise or presentation.
Please ensure that you bring document(s) proving your right to work to this interview, as we are required by law to check this. This could be a passport or photo ID card. We will need to see the original document(s) should we wish to appoint you.
At Epson we are proud to say that many of our employees have been enjoying long and successful careers - some have been here for over two decades. This blend of knowledge and experience, combined with an expanding headcount providing fresh insight from other organisations, is what continues to make us great.
“As Epson employees, we always strive to exceed expectations. Our focus is to deliver only the very highest quality products and support to our customers.”
Meet some of our people
The Epson Champions award publicly recognises our employees. Any employee can be nominated by another employee for demonstrating the commitment and creativity that delivers innovation, results and excellent customer satisfaction.
There are local Champion winners in every region who are considered for the prestigious Champions EMEAR award. The Champion winners are given the opportunity to visit our global headquarters in Japan.
"One of the most pleasing aspects of this year’s cycle was seeing the esteem held for fellow colleagues, something that was made clear in the many nominations we received. The most striking observation was the pride with which people accepted their nominations and subsequent awards."

The Epson story
Epson is a Japanese brand that evolved from Seiko – best known as one of the world's foremost watchmakers. Expanding upon those technologies into other fields led to the launch of the EP-101 in 1968. Shortly after this innovation, we launched the EP-101 in 1968. It was the world's first compact, lightweight digital printer from which the name Epson - the son of the EP - was born. We've continued innovating ever since, and now we're one of the best-selling and most innovative brands in just about every market in which we operate.
Take your time when applying for a role. Consider if this is the right job for you and whether you have the skills and experience necessary to be successful. Is Epson the right company for you and does the location suit? Do you have the legal right to work where the job is based?
Read the job advert carefully and fill out your information honestly and accurately, as this forms part of the selection and screening process.
We understand that a remuneration package forms part of your decision when you apply for a new job. Should your initial application be successful, a member of the HR or resourcing team will discuss your salary expectations with you.
What benefits are offered to employees?
Our benefits package varies from country to country. Your HR representative or resourcing specialist will be able to inform you about the benefits on offer in the country where the position is based.
How should I prepare for the interview?
Researching Epson is a great place to start. Find out about our different product ranges and our global office locations. Make sure you familiarise yourself with your CV and the job details prior to the first interview.
For your second stage interview, be prepared to provide specific examples of your experience detailing tasks or projects that you have worked on and how you have approached them. These types of interviews are known as competency based or structured evidence based interviews. You may also be informed of a skills based exercise or presentation that you'll be asked to undertake during your second stage interview. All of the necessary information will be provided to you by the resourcing team or HR team in advance of the interview.
What is a competency based interview?
A competency-based interview can also be referred to as:
Competency-based interviews are founded on the premise that past performance is the best predictor of future behaviour. You'll be asked to share examples of situations you've been personally involved in and asked to talk through each scenario in detail in order to provide evidence of your competence for the role.
How do I answer competency based interview questions?
Use the STAR approach:
Situation/task - describe the exact situation you were in or the task that you needed to accomplish. The situation must have occurred in the past and can come from the workplace, educational experience or a volunteer role.
Action - describe the action that you actually took - not what you might or should have done. If you worked in a team environment, it is important to describe your role in the team. The interviewer wants to understand what you did, not what the team did.
Result - describe what happened; did you accomplish the goal? If not, what did you learn along the way?
What should I wear to the interview?
Keep it smart. Epson has a business dress code.
What do I need to bring to the interview?
Please remember to bring your right to work documents to your second stage interview. We need to see the original documents, such as passports, national identity cards, full birth certificates etc.
Please ask your HR representative or resourcing specialist if you have any queries.
When should I expect to hear back from Epson following my interview?
This may vary depending on the position you have applied for. However, we ensure that you will always receive detailed, specific and constructive feedback regarding the outcome of your interview, as we value your interest in Epson.

Polite note to recruitment agencies
We have our own in-house direct resourcing team, which means that we only occasionally work with recruitment agencies. In this instance, Epson Europe B.V. operates a preferred supplier list arrangement for any agency permanent, contract and temporary recruitment across all of our regions. We are under no obligation to pay any fee resulting in the placement of a candidate, unless the supplier has signed terms and conditions with Epson Europe B.V. and has been instructed to submit candidates by the relevant resourcing specialist or HR representative.
With that in mind, we politely ask that you avoid making any speculative approaches to our HR or resourcing team, or managers across the business.
If you would like to be considered for preferred supplier status, please send a brief introduction to your business to email@example.com, clearly stating the areas you specialise in and how you think your company can help us.
If we don’t currently have a suitable opportunity, please send us a general application clicking the Apply speculatively button below. We will keep your details and contact you when a position becomes available.
